The day's activities will include a plant sale of native and non-native plants from local growers and the Centre Furnace Mansion gardens. Garden enthusiasts will be able to choose from annuals, perennials, trees, herbs, shrubs among many others.

PNC Bank-United Way Day of CaringThursday, October 7, 2010
The PNC Bank-United Way Day of Caring is a day-long event which takes place the first Thursday of October throughout Centre County. Improvement projects are done on non-profits, with the involvement of literally thousands of volunteers. Included on the project list are dozens of non-profit agencies, youth recreational facilities, historical sites and more.
